As Private Health Insurers allow the individual to choose from numerous policies and levels of cover, it is the responsibility of the patient to contact their health fund regarding the level of benefits available to them to claim the surgical fee.
All patients are provided with full treatment costs before receiving treatment and undergoing any procedures.
Any procedure performed under local anaesthesia requires payment on the day of the procedure.
Any procedure performed under general anaesthesia requires payment approximately 7 days prior to the scheduled date of operation. You will receive a prepayment invoice for your surgeon’s operating fee and payment can be made in several different ways as outlined below.
For your convenience we accept cash, cheque, money order, direct transfer, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. The prepayment invoice includes the details for electronic funds transfer. Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. We will send you an itemised invoice after the surgery is complete. This ensures absolute accuracy and makes claiming from insurance companies much easier.
