Mr Sam Huang is an Australian trained Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. After graduating from dentistry at the University of Melbourne in 2005, he worked in the Adelaide Maxillofacial Unit as a senior house officer before obtaining his medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2011.
Sam completed his specialty Oral and Maxillofacial Training through the Victorian/Tasmania Training Program and gained his Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2021.
He then completed a Clinical Fellowship at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge in the areas of craniomaxillofacial trauma, dentofacial deformity and head and neck oncology.
He holds consultant positions at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Austin Hospital and Royal Dental Hospital Melbourne.
Sam enjoys practicing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with particular interest in the areas of bone grafting and implantology, dentoalveolar surgery, corrective jaw surgery and computer-assisted 3D surgical planning.
He is also a native Mandarin speaker.
